“With 40 percent of our business drop shipped to our distributor customers, a high level of service is extremely important,” says Coar-Venne. “We have our customer’s trust and we work hard to deliver the best service possible.”

With a minimum order of only $35, Aluminum Fastener Supply can ship an in-stock item the same day if ordered by noon, the next day if ordered later.

Because of the lightweight properties of aluminum, the company uses special electronic scales with very tight tolerances to achieve an accurate count when shipping aluminum fasteners. All product is shipped in plain brown packaging, says Coar-Venne, “so the customer can put their packing slip on it and not worry about our name on the product.”

After 30 years in business, Coar-Venne says she’s confident that there is a place for aluminum in the fastener industry and adds, “The Light way is the Right way.”
